After bumping into the Smiths at Marylebone station a couple of weeks ago, they visited this weekend for a BBQ. The weather for the most part was condusive but there was one 10 minute stretch when I was cooking meat on the BBQ in my rain jacket getting very wet. Luckily the BBQ has a lid.
Peter Morrell invited us to his 60th Birthday Barn Dance and Hog Roast. Yes I know - very country! Anyway we had a great time even though we had to leave early to allow Meris to get up early for work the next morning. Adam, Hannah and Kirsten all enjoyed the barn dancing and Adam also got a chance to play with the band filling in on tambourine.
My Aunt Helen and Mum and Dad came to visit today. We went out to the Country Park in Harrold and ate in the small restaurant there - good sausage sandwiches and scambled egg on toast all round. Hannah has started taking photos and some of hers are here. The picture I took of Adam has become quite popular on Flickr and been featured on their "Interesting" page.
Hannah, Adam and I went to the Natural History Museum and went to see the dinosaurs. Everytime I go into the grand hall I am breathtaken by how beautiful the room is. We bumped into the Smiths at Marylebone station and stopped all the commuters in the subway to take the picture - apparently the most touristy thing either James or I have ever done. Hannah bought some lovely minerals/stones for her room.
