New camera

With my 40th Birthday looming large, Meris persuaded me to get myself a decent camera. Over the years she has always been the one who has persuaded me to get the things that have brought me happiness - guitars, leather jackets, camera, oh yeah - and our kids! For all these things and many others I am very grateful - so a big thank you.

This Canon 350D replaces a half manual Pentax MX that I had in my late teens and early twenties and which was stolen from a van which was parked up at a visitor centre at Mount Greylock in the Berkshire Hills in western Massachusetts when I worked as a camp councellor one summer.
