Day 1 - Walking Plato the Dog

Our good friend Bill kindly if somewhat madly offered us the free reign of his house in Bellevue for our ten day holiday in Seattle. The location was perfect. A leafy suburb about a 20 minute ride to downtown Seattle across the most beautiful bridges across first to Mercer Island and then Seattle itself. Our stay at Bill's couldn't have been happier and we are so grateful he made us so welcome. On the first day of our stay we made a three mile walk with Bill and his dog Dougle (or Plato as he was more often called). The weather was wet but warm but dried up as we were walking.
